The Pritchard Wedding!

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Pritchard. Check out the gorgeous couple. September 22, 2009 in North Carolina. We can not wait to see more pictures and here all the stories! Congratulations!

Chuckie Cheese was a success!

We loaded up in the Toyota and ran over to Bossier City for the afternoon. This was our first time to play at Chuckie Cheese. Morgan's favorite part was gathering tickets at the end of each game. We had a blast but the ride home was not so much fun. Patrick cried at least an hour.

Build A Bear

The Birthday parties have begun! Morgan went to her first build a bear party and she had a blast. The party included a $15 animal and Morgan picked the purple Kooky Spooky Kitty. We are so glad that Hannah invited us. The girls played a few games and then created their animals. It is always fun to watch them clean and dress their new animals. On the way to the party Morgan was convinced that she wanted to leave with a pair of skates for her animal but...... instead she picked a witch Halloween costume for her Spooky Kitty. She named her kitty Morgan. Go figure! Later that day she changed the name to Chevvers. (what??) I feel certain she will change it again in the next day or two.

River Oaks Pep Rally

Nana does a great job of taking photos at the Pep Rally. There is always a theme and Morgan just can't wait for Pep Rally Day. The pictures are of Morgan and her big sis at the first three Pep Rallies.

A Summary of the past week events!

Saturday Patrick began to feel a little better from his bacterial infection and I started to feel awful. My throat hurt and I had the aches and chills.... no fever. We went to dinner at Nana and Gramps' and they offered to have Morgan spend the night.
Sunday morning we found out that Morgan lost her second tooth. We new it was loose.... it was just a matter of time. The tooth fairy came and brought her $5. Patrick was feeling well again and I started to feel better also.
Monday morning I lost my voice and Wednesday I went to see the Dr. He told me that I had Bronchitis and an eye infection. We are crossing our fingers that no one else in the family gets sick.
Sandy, Patrick's teacher, had wonderful things to say about Patrick when I picked him up on Monday. She said "Patrick is the only one who knows all of his colors, the alphabet, and can count to ten out of the three year old room."
Wednesday Morgan came home with her first kindergarten progress report and we are beaming ear to ear!
Thursday I will be off work for a day of rest. Hopefully I can return to work on Friday.
Joel is feeling great but over worked as usual. Everyone is looking forward to a much needed weekend.

Sunday night Patrick started running fever

He has been running fever for two days and Dr. Stanley said it is bacterial. We have started a round of medicine and with any luck, the fever will go away and I can make it back to work in the morning. For now, he is fever free and sleeping!
Well, you do not always get what you wish for. It is now Thursday and Patrick has only gotten worse. The fever has stopped but his ears, eyes and nose all have yellow runny stuff. Joel and I took him to the ENT and he gave him a shot of rocephin, cleaned out his nose (it is till bleeding form that) and told us to go to the Pediatrician in the morning. So... Friday I will be off again and back at the Dr.'s office.
Friday we saw Dr. Ricks. He prescribed ear drops for the ever ooozing ears and told us to return if his fever came back.

The Tooth Fairy has arrived at the Turner's House!

Yes, Morgan is not five yet and she has lost her first tooth. We were surprised. It must have been time because another tooth was already half way out. A couple days ago Morgan was so excited to tell me the story about her loose tooth. I was none too happy to hear that she was wiggling her tooth because I thought it was too soon. Saturday, early evening, she brushed her teeth and then came running to us about how her tooth fell out. She then started crying because I told her a few days earlier that we would have to go to the Dentist if she lost a tooth. Joel told her the story about the tooth fairy and she felt much better. Sunday morning the tooth fairy had left Morgan five dollars. Morgan went back into her room after showing us the five dollars and when she came out she wanted to know where the note was. I said what note and she said the one I left the tooth fairy so she would know where to find her tooth. She was concerned that the tooth fairy might look under the wrong one. Isn't that cute!

Kiroli Park!

Morgan wanted to go out of town for the Labor Day weekend but we were not ready to take Patrick over night. Most nights Patrick does not sleep well even in his own baby bed. So.... I promised her we would do something fun and different. We went to Kiroli Park and the kids went wild. Morgan is such a big girl. I barely even had to watch her climbing on the playground.

Before we left for Kiroli we had some playdough time!

No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

Patrick decided to jump on our bed and it was already waaaaaaay past bedtime. Luckily, he did not hurt himself and he had a good time. Morgan missed out on the fun because she went to bed when she was suppose to. Patrick will now say I LOVE YOU. He calls himself Pat Pat if you ask him what his name is and he will count to ten. He loves the math circus movie by LEAP Frog.
