Morgan Selling Snacks and Drinks

Morgan wanted to do a lemonade stand. I talked her into juice, water, and apples inside small Dixie cups. She sold them to us for a dime a piece.

Dr. Morgan (the vet.)

River Oaks had a day to dress up as what you want to be when you grow up. When we asked Morgan what she wanted to dress up as, she decided on a veteranarian. Joel gave her one of his white work shirts that she wore as her lab coat. She made a sign that said Dr. Morgan and taped it onto the lab coat. Morgan carried her Dr. bag with a cat and dog inside and wore a stethoscope around her neck.

Morgan completed a week of cheer camp and was able to cheer at halftime of the football game. G.G. came with us to help us keep up with Patrick and Morgan.

Patrick had a Fever of 103

Friday night Patrick would not eat dinner and started to whine. By bed time his fever was 101 and it continued through the night reaching 103. Saturday morning we took him to the doctor. He started a ten day round of antibiotics in hopes of clearing up his congestion and bacterial infection. Sunday Patrick was not much better and started throwing up.....so....... G.G. kept him Monday and took him back to the doctor. They gave him a shot of rocephin and told him to go back on Tuesday for another shot of rocephin. On Tuesday night Patrick began to feel much better. He continued to feel better on Wednesday but by Friday he was complaining of stomach pains so I picked him up from school and took him to the doctor and he had an x-ray of his stomach. The results came out normal so we gave him gas medicine for the pain. Saturday the stomach pain was gone.

Early Morning Styling!

Most days Patrick wakes up with a (not so great) hair do. So…. Mom or Dad usually spend a little time getting him ready for school.
