Princess Tea Party with Miss ULM

Hope Anderson is Miss ULM 2009 and our next door neighbor. Hope is so sweet to Morgan and Morgan just adores Hope. The Tea Party fund raiser was a blast. Doc stayed at our house and watched Patrick so Morgan and I could enjoy an afternoon together.

Emily brought her pony to River Oaks

This is a drawing at school on the bulletin board that Morgan's class made. Notice the crown on her drawing.

Morgan's Pre-k4 River Oaks Graduation!

Needless to say, Morgan enjoyed her End of the Year Program. Mrs. Lisa and Mrs. Mandy did a wonderful job. Joel was out of town for work so I video taped it. Morgan wanted to watch it as soon as we got home. We could not be happier with River Oaks.

Patrick update!

5-5-09 We could not take it any longer and I am sure that Patrick would have thanked us. We called Dr. Stanley and asked them to change his medication and they did. Patrick was screaming and stretching his body out like he was hurting all the time. We feel sure that the medicine was either causing him pain or altering his behavior. Either way it was time to change it. Everyone in our house had enough.
5-9-09 Patrick has been back to himself for several nights and we are all happy again!

Patrick tested positive for Strep Throat

Monday, April 27th, Patrick had a post op. visit with the ENT and he said everything looked wonderful. I had the chance to see inside Patrick's ears at the blue piece of plastic. WoW! Wednesday, April 29th, G.G. took Patrick for his DTP and Hepatitis A vaccines. G.G. said that Patrick did great and later that evening his fever began. By Thursday morning his fever was gone and Patrick went to day care. When we picked him up on Thursday afternoon we were told that he had fever. Sure enough, by 8:30 p.m. he had 103.5. At 2:30 a.m. he was shaking with 102. Friday morning, 6a.m., his fever was gone and he was taken to day care. Friday afternoon I picked him up from day care. Once we got home I took his temperature and it was 104.9 so we were off to the after hours clinic. By 6:30 we dropped off his prescription for Omnicif since he tested positive for Strep Throat.
