Several Days of Christmas.

Morgan wanted Nana to have a photo of her in the new dance costume she gave her. She insisted that I set up the lights and use the backdrop.

Our Christmas festivities began on Christmas Eve at Nana and Gramps' house. The food was wonderful and everyone had a blast. Patrick even opened his first gift on his own. We were very excited to see him open gifts.

Christmas morning we opened the gifts under out tree and then we went over to G.G.'s house to open presents with her and to celebrate her birthday! Uncle David drove up about five minutes before we arrived so he joined us.

That evening we celebrated G.G.'s birthday with a homemade ice cream cake. It was yummy!

River Oaks Christmas Program!

The event of the day was.... the Christmas Program. Morgan's school dismissed the whole week at 11:30 so..... no naps were taken. The first photo below was one of many meltdowns before the program. Morgan's tights were on backwards and she got upset.

This photo is of Morgan, as a dove, and Blake as a camel. Both patiently waited for the program to begin.

A little down time before the program. She sure looked sad.

The Big EVENT!

Santa Clause came to Monroe!

Morgan finally had a chance to see Santa Clause and let him know how much she wants the Hannah Montana pop up light show and stage. This Santa was the best!!! G.G. and I were very impressed. I am certain we will make plans to visit Santa at the Beidenharn Museum every December. Morgan promises to be good so Santa will bring her presents.

Our Tree is Up!

Saturday morning we took the Christmas boxes out of the storage shed and brought them in to decorate the house. Morgan had a blast as usual. She helped put up the tree and helped her dad hang the stockings. All left over decorations went to her room so she could decorate it. Grandma Clark gave her a beautiful small Christmas tree for her room and she hung red bows near her curtains. Patrick wanted to help decorate the tree as well. He would walk up to the tree babbling and try to place an ornament on it. Then he would grab off an ornament and walk away.
