Our Brave Children

Monday, September 26th, we met G.G. and Grandpa at the Monroe Fair. Morgan was more brave than last year. She wished we had brought a friend for her to ride with so we suggested next year. Patrick was a lot pickier than Morgan. This was his first time at the Fair. He tried a few rides but ultimately decided that the fun house was the only one he enjoyed.

First Soccer Game (The Pink Panthers)

Morgan seemed to have a great time during the soccer game. The Pink Panthers had seven players and four played at a time. She ran a lot, kicked a little and even fell down once. Patrick was not the happiest camper. Nana was happy to console him and feed him through his woes. Morgan’s team won their first game.

Patrick as MARIO

Patrick decided he wanted to be Mario for Halloween. I found the costume at Dirt Cheap for $6.00. Morgan was just as excited and decided that she wanted to be Luigi so I went back to Dirt Cheap and found her a Luigi costume.

Morgan’s First Soccer Practice

Monday, September 19th was a hot afternoon. We stood in the sun while the girls practiced. Megan, the girl’s coach, was wonderful. She kept the girls practicing drills and working as a team. Patrick watched from the side lines but wanted very badly to join them.
