Morgan's Party for Her Build-A-Bears!

Morgan decided that she wanted to set up a birthday party for two of her bears. She named them Lilly and Lauren for the night and said they were twins. She wrapped gifts from her room and had a honey bun for a cake. We all sang happy birthday to Lilly and Lauren and then she and Patrick opened the gifts she had wrapped.

Patrick Graduated from Speech Therapy!

Last night Miranda, our speech therapist, called to say that she tested Patrick and he is now above average for his age. She still thinks his voice is very hoarse but overall, he has made great accomplishments since we started therapy in July.

Birthday Party at Bayou Gymnastics

Saturday afternoon I took Morgan to Bayou Gymnastics to celebrate Lance's 6th birthday with her class from River Oaks. Morgan had a great time and before we could get home she was insisting that she wants to have her 6th birthday party at Bayou Gymnastics. A couple weeks ago we signed Patrick up for pre-k 3 at Bayou Gymnastics. I have heard lots of positive things about their pre-k 3 class and we are looking forward to it next fall.

Patrick Has a Bacterial Infection

Wednesday night, January 20th, Patrick began running a low fever. Thursday morning Joel took off work and took care of him. Around 2:00 G.G. took Patrick so Joel could go to work and then I took Patrick around 3:30 so G.G. could go exercise with Grandpa. His fever continued through the night and Friday morning I took off work to take care of him. His fever reached 102.7, he threw up, he had the chills and he cried of a stomach ache. I took him to the Dr. and he confirmed that Patrick had a bacterial infection. He gave Patrick a shot of rocephin and told us to come back Saturday morning for another shot of rocephin. Saturday morning Joel took Patrick for his shot. Patrick spent most of the day with low to no fever and we are hopeful that by morning he will be back to normal.

Patrick kept asking for a bubble bath last night. He did not last long before he was crying to get out but I think it took his mind off feeling bad for a few minutes.

Patrick Has a Low Fever

On Sunday night, we started noticing some changes in Patrick. He fell asleep in the recliner around 6p.m. and his cheeks were red. We took his temp. and he had 101. He was also complaining of a stomach ache. Monday I stayed home with him and took him to see Dr. Stanley. Stanley said his stomach was upset and sent us home with Resyst and Dicyclomine. By Tuesday Patrick was feeling great and back at school. His sicknesses are fewer and farther between!!!
