Family Vacation

We took the kids to Gulf Shores, Alabama with the Fullers. We stayed four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Morgan and Patrick took a while to warm up to the beach and the salt water. Morgan was terrified that a shark might bite her or that a jelly fish might sting her. She never wanted to go past ankle deep. Patrick tried it out several times and by the last day he was even chasing the waves in and out with the tides.

Friday, July 22nd -  5:30 am left town, arrived for lunch at the Hangout around 1:00, checked in, went to the grocery store, walked the beach, cooked dinner and went crabin with no luck. Nikki and I shopped surf in style for beach chairs and an umbrella.

Saturday, July 23rd – beach, pool, boys went golfing, cooked lunch, nap, back to beach and pool, cooked dinner, stayed up late playing music

Sunday, July 24th – beach, pool, cooked lunch, nap, beach, pool, Alvins Island shopping for souvenirs, cooked dinner, Layla's Ice Cream shop

Monday, July 25th – beach, pool, cooked lunch, nap, pool, boys went shopping, beach and pool, cooked dinner, The Track, Layla's Ice Cream shop

Activities at The Track: Spinning cups, train, swings, go carts, ferris wheel, and arcades
