One of Patrick's favorite movies is Math Circus. The other night Joel and I were grading a math test for my third graders and when we were done I held up my fingers and asked Patrick what was one plus one.
Mom: What is one plus one?
Patrick: equals two
Shock and surprise
Mom: What is one plus two?
Patrick: Um..... equals five
Between Morgan practicing her math facts and the movie Math Circus, we think Patrick is off to a great start.
