Morgan & Hannah’s Play Date!

Hannah Sandifer invited Morgan to swim with her at her brother’s birthday party. Morgan swam while Patrick and I slept. When we woke up Patrick asked if we could go to the jungle gym. We picked up Morgan and Hannah from the party and took them to the jungle gym.

Patrick’s First “Official” Hair Cut!

Thanks Aunt Catherine. Patrick had his first hair cut at a beauty shop. Patrick was very still and did not seem to mind. Catherine also touched up Morgan’s ends. When Morgan was waiting for Patrick she decided to help Aunt Catherine by sweeping up the hair into piles.

   

A Bail of Hay

The field behind Nana’s house was recently mowed. They also rolled the hay into bails so we decided to play on top of them.

Morgan’s First Set of First Grade Tests!

We could not be happier. She received three one hundreds and a Ninety B! The E on her weekly conduct paper stands for Excellent.

Patrick’s 1st Day at Pre-K3!

It was great! Patrick attended First United Methodist Preschool and his first report from his teacher, Rhonda, said had a good day, ate a good lunch, took a good nap and under additional comments the word precious was written!

First Pep Rally of First Grade

River Oaks first Pep Rally was themed blue and white day. Morgan was given a new cheerleader skirt this year since she finally outgrew the one she got from Megan in pre-k3. Thanks again to Megan we have a new one to start the year.

Patrick had Pharyngitis

Friday, August 20th, Joel stayed home with Patrick. He had diarrhea, he was throwing up and he had a fever of 103. The Dr. said it was Pharyngitis and put him on antibiotics for five days. Saturday was a little better and by Sunday Patrick said he felt fine and he had no fever. Monday morning is his first day of pre-k3.

Baseball on a Jumper

Joel and Patrick practiced baseball inside the house while Patrick stood on the jumper. It was interesting.

First Day of First Grade!

Morgan asked if it was time to go to first grade for several days before the first day. She could not wait. She picked out her clothes in advance and kept talking about how excited she was to get to school.

 

Bowling

Morgan and Patrick bowled with a six pound ball and used the bumpers. I assisted Patrick to be sure that his ball made it to the pins. After bowling we spent some quarters on candy and tattoos.
