In January, Patrick’s school planned a special time to show off for the grandparents!

A Few Photos of the New House!

I was home with Patrick while he had the flu so I staged a few photos of the inside of our house.

 

A Very Late Birthday Celebration!

We finally found time to celebrate Grandpa’s Birthday. January was busy with Grandma Clark in the hospital, Patrick and I having the Flu, moving into the new house and Gramps having a knee replacement. We invited G.G., Grandpa, and Nana over for dinner. G.G. and Grandpa gave the kids Saints football shirts they picked up while in New Orleans.

Fencing Us In!

After a few weeks at the new house without a fence Bogie practically begged for a fence. I posted on facebook and Jay responded that he recommended Mike Sutton for the job. We were very happy with Mike’s work.

We came home one evening to find Bogie sitting in her bed in the middle of the backyard. I wonder if she dragged it out there or if the wind blew it and she just wanted to sit in it.

New House, Next Flu, Lots To Do

The month of January was a whirl wind. I had the flu, we packed to move, we moved, and Patrick had the flu. In that order. Mike Sutton began installing a fence around our yard and Joel began looking for someone to fix the leaking master shower! I found a  little time during the move to stop and click photos. Here Goes!

The drawer fell off. It appeared to be attached by only staples. Go Figure.

Patrick felt well enough, on his third day of the flu, to complete this solar system puzzle three times.

Moving!

We mailed out these change of address cards and then discovered that the phone number will have to change.

Stay Away from the Turner’s House

Monday night, January 3rd, Patrick began running a low fever. We took him to the Dr. and he tested negative for Strep, mono, or flu. Patrick began a five day round of antibiotics and started feeling better on Thursday evening. New Years Day I started feeling bad and ended up missing work on Tuesday – Thursday because of the Flu.
